Hi, I'm Leo McCarthy and I head the Applianceplus Commercial Division in Tauranga.

My background started in the electrical appliance servicing field back in my early days as a trade technician which took me up into sales.

Overall I have been involved in the appliance industry for over 40 years and pride myself in the product knowledge of a wide range of appliances. I also have experience in the industry which together helps me match the right products and brands with my clients to best meet their needs.

I get great enjoyment from working collaboratively with developers, builders, and kitchen joiners in supplying them with appliances that are best suited to their customer's requirements. I work on a number of projects, from kitchen renovations to complete contract builds in the bay as well as the greater North Island.

As a Bay of Plenty local I am passionate about the beautiful area we live in and the relationships I have with both my clients and suppliers. Outside of work I enjoy supporting local rugby and getting out on the green with the boys for a spot of golf.

Hi, my name is Steve Radford and I'm the senior sales consultant for Applianceplus Commercial based in Tauranga.

I have lived in the Bay of Plenty for many years and attended Tauranga Boys College in my youth. I love what Tauranga has to offer with a great balance of lifestyle and affordability compared to other big centres in New Zealand.

I have been in the appliance industry for over 35 years in New Zealand and the UK. One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is being able to find out which will suit my client's needs and then provide them with these products with minimal fuss. Listening to the client and asking the right questions to find out a client's true needs is key to giving our customers the best results. An understanding of what the needs are for every business or build is what we strive for at Applianceplus.

Hi there, my name is Arna Sutherland and I am a Commercial Sales Representative with the Applianceplus Commercial team.

With over 15 years of experience as a formally trained chef and 14 years in sales, I bring a unique combination of culinary expertise and industry knowledge.

I take a consultative approach, combining insight and understanding to truly grasp each client’s needs and help them find appliances that perfectly complement their lifestyle.

My passion for design and functionality drives me to help clients make thoughtful choices that balance form, function, and performance within their space.

Originally from the Waikato, I spent 13 years overseas, including a decade in Melbourne, where I met my husband. Now back in the Bay of Plenty, I’m a proud mum of two and still love to cook whenever I can.

Whether it’s helping a family plan their dream kitchen or offering advice on practical, functional considerations, my goal remains the same, to make every kitchen a place of success, creativity, and everyday enjoyment.
